Going to wait ’til the midnight hour…

… and the 14th inning to win an all-hands on deck marathon in Philly last night. Brandon Crawford’s bases-loaded double scored three runs in the 14th and the G-Men held on for what may prove to be a watershed victory in the 2014 season. All of this wouldn’t have happened if not for Buster Posey’s clutch game-tying HR in the 9th. His dinger was the first HR given up by Paplebon all season! And speaking of firsts, Timmy came in to record the 1st Save of his career in the 14th. Oh what a night, and ballgame in Philly!

Buster's solo shot ties game in the 9th. Giving the Giants hope and Phillies closer Paplebon his first blown save of 2014.

Timmy the closer! The Freak gets 1st career save. And he joins Sandy Koufax as the only pitcher to record a no-hitter and save in the same season.
